Walk-in showers and wet rooms are fast becoming the popular choice when building or renovating bathrooms due to the improvements that have been made in waterproofing. The shower area is level with the surrounding floor and a soft gradient is used to direct water into the trap. There is no traditional shower 'cubicle' to speak of and this allows freedom to design a more spacious and open plan area making it ideal for smaller ensuites in addition to larger bathrooms.
