Porcelain tiles have many qualities that make them an attractive choice of tile for both indoors and outdoors. They can come with a glazed or unglazed finish and are very hardwearing making them the perfect floor tile. Once they are sealed (if required, although 95% don't need sealing) after laying, porcelain tiles require little maintenance other than a light mop. There are tiles that can convincingly reproduce the look of some natural stone and only cost a fraction of the price which gives buyers a more cost effective alternative if they prefer the natural look but require less maintenance to upkeep.

As with all tiles, it is important to use a neutral cleaning product with a low PH value as some cleaning products can burn the surface and dull a glazed finish.
