Limestone Tiles at Stone Emporium

Limestone tiles, Limestone paving, and other Limestone flooring are all offered at Stone Emporium.  The beautiful grey to cream tones of this natural stone make it a superb choice of tile for flooring and walls, and it is available in a matt, polished or ‘eggshell’ finish.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is made entirely out of it, and with that sort of testimony it’s no wonder Limestone is widely used as a building material.  It can be cut to a variety of thicknesses, which makes it suitable for facades also. Limestone is clearly a long-lasting material, but it is important to note that it is porous and reactive to acid solutions. It is therefore important to use 2-3 coats of sealant to avoid staining, and to ensure that it is always cleaned with a PH neutral solution to avoid any etching.
